(Riverside, IA) – It was certainly ‘Invasion: Iowa’ as the town of Riverside, IA celebrated the future birthplace of the venerable Captain James T. Kirk. It’s not your typical Trek Convention, as the town wants to keep their celebration as ‘small town’ as possible. Where else could you hang out with Trekkies, eat corn-dogs, speak Vulcan, live-long-and-prosper all while watching a tractor pull.
Much thanks to citizens of Riverside for inviting us to celebrate with them. We had fun, even though the heat bordered on unbearable. Live long and prosper. You guys ROCK! By the way, tell the Stardust Radio people to call our people…. we’ll do lunch.
