I was checking-out the latest standings for the KCRG TV-9 A-List competition and found our improv troupe’s group-photos flickering across the CityVoter website. I got a kick out of it and snapped the screen-shot you see on the left.
In another three weeks, KCRG TV-9 will end their 2010 A-List competition and we crossing our fingers to do well again this year. We took 2nd place back in 2008 (just behind Penguins Comedy Club). In 2009, somehow we dropped-the-ball for some reason. I can’t remember even campaigning in 2009, since I don’t recall getting their typical follow-up email that mentioned the competition was active. Oh, well.
What? What is the KCRG TV-9 A-List? Here’s what KCRG says:
The KCRG-TV9 A-List is an interactive city guide featuring promotional contests hosted by KCRG-TV9 and powered by CityVoter. The A-List profiles local businesses and allows consumers to vote for and recommend their favorites.
Comics In Action has been nominated for “Best Live Comedy” and its been some pretty stiff competition this year.
Anyway, we’ve got a show at Cranky Hanks (Lindale Mall) this weekend and hope everyone can come on over and enjoy an evening with us.
