Greg Brown LIVE at Old Brick DVDThe Artists Recovery Fund is a charitable gift fund started by graduate students at the University of Iowa and assisted by members of the Campaign to Organize Graduate Students (COGS)/UE Local 896 after hearing of the estimated 50-75 students who lost tools, instruments, and artwork in the summer’s floods. Affected University of Iowa student artists and musicians will be able to apply for money to replace their tools and instruments starting in January, 2009.

On the evening of November 13, 2008, Iowa folk musician Greg Brown (with Radoslav Lorkov on piano) performed at the Old Brick Church and Community Center in Iowa City, IA. The entire performance was videotaped by Joe Scherrman of DreamCatcher Productions with audio re-mastered by Tucker Burnes of Tucker Burnes Recording.

The DVD for Greg Brown’s performance is now available with ALL proceeds going to the Artists Recovery Fund. The cost for the DVD (including shipping and handling) is only $30. We urge you to help the Iowa City artists affected by the disastrous floods of 2008.
