Intro to Short-Form Improv (6th – 12th Grade)

Intro to Short-Form ImprovStop by and try your hand at improv with the The Corridor’s improvisational comedy troupe, Comics in Action

Intro to Short-Form Improv:

Learn the fundamentals of improvisation. Comics In Action teaches “short-form” improv comedy, focusing on: scene work, collaboration, making strong/smart choices, and how to be funny without using crutches. By focusing on the information at the beginning of scenes, our intent is to help students create an improv road map within their first few moments on stage. Join Agents Danuuc, Butters and Collateral Damage in a very insightful hour into the realm of Short-Form improv comedy. 🙂

Through a series of “warm-ups” and “short-form” improv games, the class’s interactive structure will help students build listening & communication skills, heighten awareness, teach students how to give and take, and to be more spontaneous, flexible, trusting and flexible with their fellow performers.
