Post 3rd Annual Iowa Improv Festival

iif3-graphic-640x300From the two-day 3rd Annual Iowa Improv Festival, here’s what we gathered through Facebook and Twitter:

  • #iowaimprovfest Great shows everybody! And by great show I mean super duper! @comicsinaction @cxpimprov @halfmasted Go #TeamUSA
  • Thanks guy’s RT @comicsinaction: @88improv is currently kicking a$$ and chewing bubble gum… And we’re out of bubble gum… #iowaimprovfest
  • RT @cxpimprov: SOLD OUT crowd at the #iowaimprovfest 2nite. Thx for the love DSM! See ya next year!!!
  • @88improv @halfmasted @comicsinaction Having a blast watching the Iowa improv Festival. Looking forward to the second act.
  • Olivia Guns @_YoungGuns also, that guy (Agent Sapien) was boss and amazingly funny. @comicsinaction #iowaimprovfest

From this, we can determine that Ken “Agent Sapien” Van Egdon, has found a new “fan base” from within the current Comics In Action fans… and, this is a good thing. 🙂

The weekend was awesome! 🙂 Agent “Ken Van Egdon” Sapien had been a part of Comics In Action for several years, but his schedule had not allowed him to attend until this year. And, from what I could gather from the ride back to Coralville, IA following Saturday’s performance… he fully realized WHY we continued to chide him for his earlier “non-involvment”… cuz’ it would be AWESOME!… and in “The Danger Zone!”… 🙂

Still, we graciously give thanks to Sara Noll-Wilson, Joe Van Haecke, John “CK” Cisar, Susan Gulbranson, Jeff Phillips, David Kaniuk Jr. and the entire Des Moines Comedy XPeriment troupe for again inviting us out for this year’s festival. It was not only humbling, but inspiring, fantastic and fun to watch. 🙂
